We’re challenging followers of Jesus to partner with Open Doors to support persecuted Christians by making a monthly gift.

That’s because making a monthly donation is the best way to help believers who live out their faith in the world’s most difficult places.

Knowing monthly gifts will be coming in helps us plan to provide critical support year-round to believers in 70+ countries, including the most volatile regions in the world.

Monthly gifts also equip us to respond to crises, attacks and emergencies.

Who do we help? Around the world, in over 70 places, Christians are harassed, expelled from their homes, terminated from their jobs, attacked, falsely imprisoned, raped and even killed because they refuse to deny their faith in Jesus.

What kind of support do we provide? In 1955, Open Doors began smuggling Bibles into Communist countries. Since then, for almost seven decades, we’ve continued to deliver Bibles, discipleship training, emergency aid, legal counsel, trauma care and many other critical programs.

How do we get the aid to persecuted believers? Open Doors works through an expansive on-the-ground network of indigenous churches and local partners who are serving communities in hostile regions.

Our most invested supporters tell us that they are blessed by the chance to bring hope to persecuted believers. But be warned, we also regularly hear that the stories of the persecuted also challenge and inspire them to go deeper in their faith—preparing us for when God may call us to stand for Him in our own country. In fact, some of us find that after connecting to the persecuted, our lives and faith are never quite the same again.
